I grew up listening to R&B and then came the famous Freestyle music which had lots of Latin beats to it. You just had to get up and dance. That was back in the day, long time ago!!!

Later on as I gave my life to the Lord my heart turned to worship music. I listen to all kinds of Christian Music. It's a different experience. Somehow you're deeply touched and moved as you worship the Lord in singing praises to Him in song. You draw near to God as He draws near to you like a beautiful dance. 

 

The Lord also uses music to minister to my brokenness. I would be going through a challenging time and He would put a song in my heart that would speak truth to my situation. It's like an expression of His love as He uses the lyrics to speak words of comfort and encouragement to me. To know that you're intimately thought of and cared for breathes hope into anyone's situation no matter how difficult the circumstance may be.
